Well, I surfed back to HaloScan and Ta Da! the templates were back so forget about what I said before....Also, The Meatrix via Roadgirl
Popped in to visit HaloScan yesterday and found out you no longer have access to comment templates, so maybe it's time for a new comment service although I hardly get any comments anyway so what's the big deal huh?
"I'd like the double-cheeseburger meal, please."
"Would you like to biggie-size that?"
"You mean I could get an even bigger double-cheeseburger?"
"Uh, no. You just get more fries and a bigger drink."
"I'm very disappointed in that response."
"Sorry. I just work here."
A darker mario and part two and part three...links via

Well as you can see I've got a new template for the blog and a new name, and I just found out that everybody really, really likes me, so that's nice. Right now I'm listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers and watching everyone in this here college library trying very hard to learn things.
Learn, students, learn!
Trying to work my way through Thomas Wolfe's You can't go home again and it's very good, but I don't think it can match Look homeward, angel which I thought was a brilliant piece of writing.
Some links of interest for you: A very nice flash piece of the newest Elvis Presley song. Boy, it's good! An Archive of all your favorite cereal boxes (I like Count Chocula because it's full of chocolate). Both links via everlasting blort
Also, here's a link to the web journal of pretty good novelist and father of the Sandman comic (no, I am not forgetting Jack Kirby's Sandman!) Neil Gaiman
Have a nice day. Eat, drink, grow large with food.

You remind me of a man
What man?
The man with the power
What power?
The power of who-do
Who-do?
You do
What?
Remind me of a man

WASHINGTON (AP)- Education Secretary Rod Paige says he chose poor words in calling the nation's largest teachers union a "terrorist organization," but he stands by his claim that the group uses "obstructionist scare tactics" in its fight over the nation's education law.

Nearly finished with the site re-launch at THE MIGHTY HEAD and it's been very interesting. The pages seem to be loading pretty slowly, whether because of the poor host or what I don't know. I'm tired of it for now.
Very funny kung-fu thingie about Don Rumsfeld!

WHITE STRIPES GET THE SHAFT. DEAD GUY WINS GRAMMY.
Despite winning two well deserved Grammys for best rock song and best alternative album, The White Stripes got the shaft, losing out to a dead guy for best rock performance of the year.
Other winners included the talentless Beyonce and the cowardly Justin Timberlake, who had to apologize yet again like a weinie before the Grammy Cops would let his lame ass onstage.
"What occurred was unintentional, completely regrettable, and I apologize if you guys are offended." whined the bearded moron.
The only bright spots in an otherwise colorless evening came when The White Stripes performed a blazing version of "Seven Nation Army" and Pink won a Grammy: "Best Female Rock Vocal Performance" for her song "Trouble"
Otherwise the whole thing pretty much sucked.
