"Americans, like human beings everywhere, believe many things that are obviously untrue...Their most destructive untruth is that it is very easy for any American to make money. They will not acknowledge how in fact hard money is to come by, and, therefore, those who have no money blame and blame and blame themselves. This inward blame has been a treasure for the rich and powerful, who have had to do less for their poor, publicly and privately, than any other ruling class, since, say, Napoleonic times."

—excerpt from Slaughterhouse-5 by Kurt Vonnegut

Welcome to the New Year, 2005. This is ethereal code. The site has been online for a little more than a year. It's companion site calls itself the mighty head. My name is Craig Snyder and I am an amateur fiction writer and web designer. I post on various subjects including CSS, writing, pop culture, and assorted ephemera. Wow.

I just posted a micro-fiction piece at the new absurdist and it's called nerve runner and moon maid. I wish you would go read it. It will only take about 2 minutes and it's free.

"I caught you a delicious bass." Link to a page of quotes from the film Napoleon Dynamite.
