Absurdist Monthly Review

Thursday, June 29, 2006

Growing out of the ground-breaking interactive fiction experiments at The New Absurdist website, the Absurdist Monthly Review is a downloadable monthly publication featuring reviews of new Absurdist fiction, articles on the history of Absurdist writing, experimental writing techniques, and Absurdist literary theory.

This new publication is the brainchild of the Polycarp Kusch, mysterious man-about-town and the creator and owner of The New Absurdist, an interactive literary site and web experiment that has been running for more than 5 years. The site doubles as a publisher of new Absurdist fiction and an interactive critique where writers and readers can comment on the short stories, normally of micro or flash fiction length.

Are you new to Absurdist Fiction? Or have you enjoyed the works of Franz Kafka, Daniil Kharms, and Nikolai Gogol (among others)? Either way, this resource is a massive wake-up call loudly proclaiming that Absurdism is alive and well and living in the 21st Century.
